8:37pm. My Achilles felt a lot better today so I decided to rest it in readiness for my run with the EPOC group tomorrow. I went shopping as usual and then went to the club. Apparently someone had tested positive for Covid so the atmosphere was subdued and there wasn’t many people in. No-one played snooker or dominoes but it’s about the quality of people and we still had a good time. I came straight home from the club instead of going to the Co-op and buying food and drink and even though I was itching to go out and buy a bag of crisps which would have meant a bottle of wine too I resisted and stayed in to be honest I felt rough. I haven’t been feeling well for the past few days and I could feel my low mood lifting at last. I went to bed tipsy but ok.
