Pains

He could feel the pains coming and going, popping in and out all over his body. Some days they weren’t there and he began to wonder if they were in his imagination and then the next day they would come back reminding him that they were real and this was his reality at the moment. The pains come and go sapping his energy leaving him unable to do the things he once enjoyed and wondering what the future holds for him.
