pure and smart?


this water tastes better
that one doesn’t have the
floral notes and toffee nose
that this one has. I didn’t
have the heart to tell him
it was all the same water
from the same tap I had
poured into old water bottles
I had got out of the bin.
neither the water or he
were pure and smart
