On how I feel which is the same for many people I assume. Some days I need to climb a mountain to burn off excess energy or calm my anxious nerves. The physical exertion from climbing and the sense of achievement when you get to the top can be a boost to your mental health. The views from the tops of mountains can be stunning and a reminder of the beauty of the world we live in.
On the other hand sometimes I need to relax and do nothing. Just lie there and let life drift by as I listen to the sound of the waves and birds flying high overhead. An experience such as this can be equally boosting for your mental health.
