Today was a lesson in knowing when to rest and when I’ve overdone it. I was determined to do something to improve my fitness and lose weight and it backfired on me. I went for a walk in my zero drop shoes and my right hip started to flare up almost immediately. Being a stubborn idiot, I carried on when I shoved have turned round gone home. When I did get home I’d done over 3 miles, but my right hip was aching, and I couldn’t wait to get my zero drop shoes off. Then came the crash. My energy levels plummeted, and I went to bed in the afternoon when I should have been doing uni work. When I woke I was starving so I gorged myself on food and undid all the good I had done over the past couple of days. Still, I didn’t have any alcohol, I was too tired to even think about drinking so there was at least one positive to take from the day.
